Every portable electric space heater recall we found from the CPSC and Health Canada since 2015 — units, fire reports, and what went wrong.
Portable electric space heater recalls announced by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada from January 2015 to October 2026: which heaters, how many were sold, how many fires and injuries were reported, the hazard, and the remedy. Sort by units to see the biggest recalls, or by year to see the recent ones. "Sold on Amazon" marks recalls whose notice lists Amazon as a seller — several of the largest were online-first brands. Absence from this table is not a safety rating: our search of CPSC's archive is known to be incomplete (see provenance).
